We acknowledge that past images of sacred reality often reflected the power structures of their time, rooted in imperial hierarchies. These metaphors can no longer serve us in understanding our interconnected lives. In this century, we need ways of describing the divine that emphasize relationships, interdependence, and shared existence. Sacred reality is dynamic and alive in the connections between us and the world. It is not a static authority but a living conversation that binds all things together. This conversation reminds us that no one person or being holds the whole. We carry divine love collectively, manifesting it through dialogue, care, and mutual respect. Let us embrace sacred reality as this evolving conversation of grace.
May we embody the sacred reality of dynamic,
abundant relationship, living as a conversation of grace
that binds all things together.
