Spiritual transformation requires an inward turn. The outer world reflects our inner reality, and true change begins within. Direct experience is essential. No external authority can replace the wisdom that arises from deep self-awareness. We must learn to recognize and trust the inner movements of our own consciousness. Religious symbols and traditions have value, but only if they guide us toward direct encounter. Without inner depth, spirituality remains shallow and performative. If we do not have deep contact with our in-depth self, he believed we could not know God. Suffering is not separate from the sacred; it is part of the whole. When we see the interconnected nature of existence, we move beyond fragmentation and into integration. Our task is not belief alone but knowing—a knowing that arises from deep contact with the self.
May we seek deep contact with our in-depth self,
that we may truly know the Divine.
