As a community, we can choose warmth over detachment, solidarity over superiority, and connection over division. Many of us grew up with religion portrayed as judgmental and aloof, a barrier to authentic connection. But we have learned that our purpose is not to stand apart or above others. Our goal is to embrace compassion, to see and understand every person with empathy, without exception. Solidarity calls us to stand alongside our neighbors as equals, sharing in their joys and struggles. Our way of being is shaped by this inclusive vision. We honor those who are marginalized, overlooked, and excluded. We value humility, mercy, and the pursuit of justice. This different way of seeing transforms how we live, making us active contributors to a better world. Together, we are committed to being a presence of love and kindness wherever we go.
May we go forth in compassion and solidarity,
bringing love, justice, and kindness to all we encounter.
