We recognize our tendency to squeeze spiritual growth into an already overwhelmed life. This approach is ineffective. We need to prioritize our spiritual development, not expect it to happen by chance. Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is worth everything we have. It's here now, if we choose to embrace it. A rule of life can guide us in this process, helping us align our daily actions with our deepest values. It addresses who we want to be and how we want to live. By adopting specific practices, we can strengthen our weaknesses and balance our strengths. This structured approach can lead us to a life centered on God, characterized by power, peace, and simplicity.
May we prioritize our spiritual growth,
embracing God's kingdom with intention and structure,
to live lives of power, peace, and simplicity.
