A Universal Center
There is a profound connection that unites all of existence, a universal center within every being where the individual and collective meet. This center is not just an abstract idea; it is the core of life itself, the axis that binds everything together. There exists in all beings a common center through which they meet together at a deeper level, and this bond of unity constitutes the axis of all individual and collective life.
In this understanding, Christ is more than a historical figure or religious symbol. Christ embodies the universal spirit that animates all creation, extending far beyond human experience to encompass the entire cosmos. This is the cosmic Christ, present in every aspect of the universe, uniting the material and spiritual realms. The divine incarnation is not just a singular event but a universal reality. The whole world is concentrated and uplifted in expectancy of union with the divine.
The universe is seen as an evolving entity, moving towards greater spiritual realization. Our lives are part of this grand evolution, contributing to the ongoing completion of the Body of Christ. Christ's love and creativity are continuously at work, bringing all things into harmony and wholeness. It is through Christ that God animates the whole complex of exterior events and interior experiences. Christ is at the heart of all that moves us.
This view challenges us to see beyond the surface, to recognize the divine presence in all that exists, and to understand our role in this unfolding universal story. We are called to live with awareness, knowing that our actions and our very being are part of something far greater—a divine movement towards ultimate unity and fulfillment.
