Abiding Presence
There is a sacred space deep inside, a contemplative clearing where the Infinite dwells. Often clouded by busyness and doubt, we have forgotten this indwelling Presence.
Yet it patiently awaits our return, a serene altar untouched by the turbulence of thought and emotion. No words or images can capture its essence, for it extends beyond all concepts and constructs of the mind.
In the silence of being, reasonings fall away. Imagination's vivid scenes grow faint and formless. The push and pull of feelings subsides into perfect equanimity.
Here, in the hallowed temple of our flesh, the Creator's love burns with a steady, unwavering flame. We need only clear away the clutter to sit breathless before this inner sanctuary.
For just as the Israelites reserved holy ground, just as Jesus embodied the sacred within, we too can make space for the divine to take up residence. Not in lofty philosophies or pious rituals, but in the unadorned awareness of what has been here all along.
In this abiding Presence, love is more than a warm sentiment or transcendent ideal. It is the very atmosphere we breathe, sustaining and uniting all in its embrace. To be immersed in it is to be truly, unutterably whole.
