Anointed with Spirit
Christ is not limited by human constructs. Our divisions, whether religious, political, or cultural, often stem from a narrow perspective that confines God to our limited understanding. But Christ is universal, existing beyond time, within all of creation. He anoints all matter with Spirit, and His people are not restricted to any one group or belief system.
Christ is too vast to be enclosed by any organization or tradition. To truly understand God, we must recognize that creation, existing for billions of years, was the first revelation of God's presence. Everything we need to know about God has been written in the fabric of the cosmos since the beginning of time. This perspective expands our view of Christ and challenges us to see God in everything.
…what is known about God should be plain to them because God made it plain to them. Ever since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—God’s eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, because they are understood through the things God has made. So humans are without excuse.
—Romans 1:19-20
Reflecting on the universe, with its unimaginable vastness and complexity, can inspire us to live with a sense of purpose and contribution. We are called to participate in the ongoing creation of the world, shaping it through reflection and action. This is our shared human responsibility.
In awe of the universe, from the grand scale of galaxies to the intricate workings of our own bodies, we recognize that we exist entirely within God's presence. This understanding calls us to a deeper awareness of the divine in every aspect of life, urging us to live in harmony with all creation.
