We sit down alone in silence, centering ourselves in God's presence. In stillness, we come to understand the depth of God's invitation in the Psalms, “Be still and know that I am God.” By sitting quietly, we align ourselves with the profound axis of our being. Alone with God, we embrace our unique relationship with the Divine. This solitude connects us to all creation, revealing God's image in everyone. In silence, we learn to listen and hear God speaking everything into existence, moment by moment. Our silent prayer embodies this divine conversation, grounding us in the living word of God.
May we find profound stillness in silence, recognizing God's presence and hearing the divine word that continually brings us and all creation into being.
