Begin in Mysticism, End in Action
Faith is not meant to be an afterthought to politics. It is the wellspring from which all authentic action must flow. Too often, we reverse this order, seeking to bend our spiritual beliefs to fit the political landscape we already occupy. This approach limits both our vision and our impact.
True transformation begins inwardly. Our actions in the world, including our political engagement, should be grounded in the deep, sustaining love that flows from the divine. At the heart of all creation, the mutual love within the Trinity overflows to embrace all of life. When we center ourselves in this love, we are no longer bound by what seems politically feasible or expedient. Instead, we are moved by what is deeply real—the unconditional love and justice that permeate all of creation. We are no longer guided or constrained by what we think is politically possible, but are compelled by what we know is most real.
This radical love calls us to challenge the status quo, advocate for the marginalized, and resist oppressive systems. It is not about seeking violent rebellion or compromising beliefs for political gain. Our actions should be rooted in the transformative power of divine love, which intends to heal, transform, and make whole what is broken.
To live this way is to invite profound change, not just in our personal lives but in the world around us. This is the power of a faith that begins in mysticism and ends in action.
