We live in a time of overwhelming change. Information floods our lives, coming from countless sources and filling every moment. This constant barrage leaves us confused and anxious. In response, some people cling to simple answers, often rooted in outdated or harmful ideas. But we know that real truth is not simple. It asks us to look deeper, beyond easy explanations, and confront what makes us uncomfortable. Great spirituality, on the other hand, is always seeking a very subtle but creative balance between opposites. True spiritual growth requires balance. We must resist the pull to extremes, whether that be blind faith or complete cynicism. Contemplation offers us a way forward. It teaches us to listen carefully, to embrace complexity, and to approach life with humility. In this way, we can find wisdom and peace amid the chaos.
May we seek the subtle balance between opposites,
embracing truth with humility and peace.
