It is time to stop waiting for others to change the world. This is our responsibility. The urgent need for transformation starts within and reaches outward through deliberate action. Commitment to the common good must shape our choices. Faithfulness is not about perfection; it is about staying rooted in values that transcend self-interest. If there is such a thing as salvation, then we are not saved until everyone is saved; our dignity and liberation are bound together. Our liberation is mutual, our suffering intertwined. When one group is threatened, all of us are less safe. When justice is delayed, all of us are diminished. The work of community, equity, and care is not optional. It is essential. Nothing changes until we change. And we must. Together.
May our shared longing for justice
awaken the truth that none of us are free
until all of us are free.
