We each have glimpses of a reality where nothing is missing, and everything is exactly as it should be. In these moments, we intuitively use the word God for the infinity of the primordial preciousness with Whom we realize ourselves to be one. These moments are brief yet profound, reminding us of the oneness and preciousness that permeates existence. They reveal that the root of our sorrow lies in forgetting this truth, in allowing the distractions of daily life to pull us away from the deep connection that defines our very being. As we reflect on this, it dawns on us that the root of sorrow is our estrangement from the intimately realized oneness and preciousness of all things. The challenge is clear: to maintain an unwavering faith in this oneness, to resist the cynicism that tries to convince us otherwise.
This path demands sincerity and a return to simplicity. It's about sitting in quietude, not with a desire to force anything to happen, but with an open heart that allows the grace of nondual consciousness to emerge. We can only assume the inner stance that offers the least resistance to be overtaken by the grace of nondual consciousness. In these moments, we don't manufacture unity; we allow ourselves to be drawn into it. The quality of our lives is intimately connected to how often we return to this awareness, to how faithfully we nurture our connection to the divine essence within us.
Take a moment today to sit in stillness. Release any resistance, and allow yourself to simply be. Let this practice anchor you in the profound truth that you are always in the presence of the divine, just as you are. In our most childlike hour, we have tasted the presence of God that is perpetually manifesting and giving itself to me as my very life.
"you are always in the presence of the divine"-I prefer you are always manifesting the divine
