Custodians of Presence
Do we truly grasp the profound melody within us, the sacred rhythm beating in each heart? Can we recognize this sacred dance in every living thread of existence? And do we comprehend that this fusion—awakening to our role as custodians of Presence, coupled with a steadfast vow to honor this Presence in all beings and our planet—unlocks the gate to transformation in our universe?
Eco-theologian Thomas Berry reveals the universe's awe-inspiring interconnectedness, suggesting it was dreamt into existence. Yet our current plight, tangled in the web of ecological ruin, demands we dream anew. We must summon, from the depths of our unconscious, visions uncharted by our rational minds.
Likewise, our rebirth hinges on a reunion with the unconscious, a fresh embrace of dreams, myths, and imagination. Whether as solitary souls or united nations, our journey towards renewal begins when we tap into the forgotten depths within us.
We are called to step into this liminal space, the threshold between what's known and what's yet to be revealed. In Celtic tales, lovers unite, worlds collide at twilight—the merging of masculine and feminine, the interweaving of the seen and unseen. Perhaps it's a time to encounter messengers from hidden corners of the cosmos, entities tied to our realm yet transcending our struggles with inner and outer shadows.
Just as in Eastern spiritual practices and monastic traditions, dawn's early light invites meditation. It's the hour when night and day converge, facilitating our transition from the known to the unknown, from the nameable to the ineffable.
Embrace this moment, where boundaries blur and mysteries beckon. Within this timeless space, let us dare to dream the world anew.
