Jesus, amidst the wilderness, sought clarity, away from the allure of adoration and fear of critique. As he gathered followers, he invited them to a transformative journey, not for the faint-hearted. To be his disciple was no small commitment, it meant embracing a radical path, facing unfamiliar dangers, and carrying the weight of his teachings like a cross. To be a Christian now often strays from true discipleship. Jesus did not sugarcoat the challenges; he beckoned them to live out his vision with action, not empty words. In a world where 'Christian' can lose its depth, 'disciple' echoes louder, a call to live the adventure of Jesus, to truly embody his teachings.
May we find clarity like Jesus in the wilderness,
embracing the radical path of discipleship
with courage and action, not just words.
