Our lives seek Divine guidance, fueled by a profound love for the Divine. This love, akin to a consuming fire, should guide us over anger. While some urge us to shed anger, examples like Jesus' overturning of tables show anger against injustice is justified. Yet, Jesus' life and resurrection weren't fueled by anger, but love. Love, greater than anger, heals divisions. Anger informs but love prevails. Trusting God in need reveals a desire for divine friendship. Just as a child's tantrum to a mother doesn't sever their bond, our doubts and anger shared with God deepen our love. Sharing pain with God is an act of love.
May our lives be guided by a consuming love for the Divine,
where anger against injustice is tempered by the transformative power of love, deepening our trust and friendship with God.
