We acknowledge the harsh realities of suffering in our world, recognizing that God does not prevent many terrible events and natural disasters. This is difficult to reconcile with the idea of a loving God. However, there is meaning in the concept of God suffering alongside humanity, participating in the pain of creation. Jesus serves as a model for survivors of abuse, leading the way to transformation. Following Him means actively working for justice and helping those in need. Healing and transformation are ongoing processes, not instant solutions. Embracing this journey allows us to strive for a better world, holding onto hope for a future without abuse, discrimination, and violence, believing that God is working through us to bring about positive change.
May we find strength in our shared journey,
embracing hope and compassion as we work together
to create a world free from suffering and injustice.
