We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves, recognizing that this is a necessary part of our spiritual journey. This deep scrutiny is not about judging our goodness or badness, but about engaging in honest self-examination. Facing our inner contradictions and moral failures leads to deeper consciousness. It is the struggle itself that brings wisdom and compassion, not the unattainable goal of moral perfection. By acknowledging our faults, we foster humility and generosity. Our shadow self is not evil; it is the part of us we resist seeing. Jesus teaches us to address our own flaws first, so we can understand and aid others more effectively. Seeing truthfully is the first step towards meaningful transformation.
May we face our shadows with courage,
embracing truth and humility,
to foster wisdom, compassion, and genuine transformation.
