We are living in a time of nonstop noise, fear, and disconnection. But we know there is something steady and trustworthy within us. When we sit in stillness, when we choose honesty and presence, we touch that place. We do not do this to escape the world but to meet it clearly. We safeguard that inner clarity—not by retreating into private comfort but by becoming people who can carry truth, compassion, and stability into chaos. We are responsible for maintaining this inner space. God cannot be born except in a womb of Love. We must refuse to be shaped by despair, division, or distraction. This is the work now: stay grounded, stay honest, and act from the center. There is no better use of our lives.
May we become the quiet,
loving space where the Divine
can be born again and again.
(inspired by Richard Rohr, Letters from Outside the Camp)
Thanks for expressing the need for grounded awareness so perfectly.
Needed it today.
