We work for justice not to prove our worth but because we are grounded in love. If we don’t live from the center of God’s love, working for justice can be just another creative way to meet the unrelenting needs of our egos. If we center our efforts on meeting personal needs or building an identity apart from love, the work becomes hollow. Justice work must not be a tool for self-validation. It is a response to the call to engage meaningfully in the world around us. The needs are vast, and the urgency is real, yet we work with patience, trusting that lasting change comes through consistent, faithful action. We acknowledge our limitations while striving to contribute to the good of our communities. This requires a life shaped by love—one that prioritizes action over passivity and remains rooted in the belief that transformation begins with us.
May we live from the center of love,
so that our work for justice flows from humility
and transforms the world without feeding our egos.
