We must focus on the core message of healing and transformation, not just the physical outcomes. Healing is about restoring relationships—with ourselves, others, and the broader community. It’s about confronting the systems, attitudes, and behaviors that perpetuate suffering. The real power lies in recognizing that transformation begins in the present moment. Pain and brokenness are not ignored but met with active care and compassion. This tells us that what matters is how we engage with suffering now. Transformation isn’t reserved for a distant reward; it happens in how we live, love, and act today. When we experience renewal, we become agents of change, embodying care and solidarity with others. This is the challenge and the hope we share.
May we go forth with hearts open to the suffering of this world,
bringing care, compassion, and healing wherever we are.
