Healing must be at the center of any authentic spiritual path. If we are not growing, learning, and transforming, then what are we doing? Too often, religion has focused on control rather than healing, maintaining order rather than fostering wholeness. We see the consequences all around us—broken relationships, institutions that harm rather than help, and a world filled with violence and division. Healing is not a passive waiting game; it requires active participation. We must learn to heal ourselves if we ever hope to heal the world. Only whole people can imagine or call forth a more whole world. This means facing our wounds, understanding our pain, and allowing transformation to take place. True spirituality brings real change. If it doesn’t, then it isn’t worth much at all.
May we seek our own wholeness,
that we might help create a more whole world.
