We are called to recognize the urgency of healing our world. The vision of the river of life, pure and sustaining, challenges us to restore what has been degraded. The tree of life symbolizes the renewal we desperately need—its fruits and leaves meant for the healing of all nations. This is not about waiting for a future transformation but about actively reversing the harm we have done. Prophets are asking why we do this to the earth, and they are commanding us to heal and replenish it now. We must reclaim our connection to all living beings and understand that our survival is intertwined with theirs. Like Noah, who preserved every species, we must act now to protect and replenish the earth. This is our shared responsibility, and the time to fulfill it is now.
May we heed the call to heal and replenish the earth,
recognizing our responsibility to all life as sacred and urgent.
(inspired by Wangari Maathai, Replenishing the Earth)
