We honor our elders because they are resilient and determined. They have faced many hardships and losses, yet they stand firm, ensuring their sacrifices have meaning. They look to the future with a commitment that their efforts will lead to a better world for future generations. Our elders are defenders of justice and protectors of the earth. The elders are voices of justice. They are champions for the earth. They guide us not by clinging to the past, but by continuously renewing our faith and traditions, adapting them for the future. Our ancestors endured similar challenges—illness, conflict, and turmoil—yet they persevered with love and faith. They remain with us, offering wisdom and strength. We follow their example, knowing they believe in us and guide us forward.
May the voices of justice, the champions for the earth,
guide us with their wisdom as we move forward in love and faith.
