We do not come to God through perfection. Instead, our mistakes and failures teach us reliance on God. Our failures open our hearts of stone and move our rigid mind space toward understanding and patience. When we get it wrong, we are opened to humility, understanding, and compassion. Perfectionism has shaped much of our struggle, making it hard to embrace imperfection in ourselves and others. Yet, we see that the only true perfection lies in accepting what is broken and incomplete. This perspective brings freedom and peace. The concept of the remnant has transformed how we see progress. A small, faithful few are enough. We no longer wait for everything to be perfect before finding joy and purpose. We live in the tension, trusting God’s quiet work in and through us, even in imperfection.
May our failures open our hearts and minds,
drawing us closer to understanding, patience,
and the boundless grace of God.
