The prophets call us to a fearless commitment to liberation, love, and justice. They remind us that these values matter more than control, certainty, or social acceptability. The prophetic path is never neat or respectable. It is a struggle alongside those who share the same vision. Prophets rarely emerge from positions of power. They come from the margins, living out wisdom that challenges the status quo. Their actions often seem strange—Ezekiel ate a scroll, Miriam danced in defiance of Pharaoh. They refuse conformity because truth demands it. Are we willing to listen? Are we open to seeing the prophetic in unexpected places? The Spirit moves beyond our assumptions. We must release our need for certainty and step into deeper engagement with truth.
May we walk in fearless commitment to truth,
embracing love and justice wherever the Spirit leads.
