When we pray, we engage in a vital relationship with God and with life. This relationship is not about changing God or trying to control outcomes. Instead, it is about changing ourselves and situating our lives in honesty and truth. When we ask, seek, and knock, we acknowledge our dependence on something greater than ourselves. This process keeps us humble and aware of our need for transformation that we cannot achieve on our own. Prayer helps us align with life’s deeper realities, fostering gratitude and openness. By continuously engaging in this practice, we maintain a living, growing connection with God and life, reminding us that every moment is a gift, not something we deserve.
May our prayers keep us humble, open,
and ever-grateful for the gift of life and our connection with God.
