We often struggle with letting go and unlearning, facing our first step with reluctance. The challenge of admitting our powerlessness and lack of control confronts us deeply. Jesus and Paul spoke about this need for ego death, recognizing that our ego-driven responses are inadequate. Our attachments and revulsions shape our ego, whereas our soul desires, loves, and lets go. In our journey, we recognize our addiction to control. By surrendering to God and embracing our powerlessness, we align more closely with life's natural flow. This radical freedom liberates us, guiding us towards true peace and inner growth.
May we find the strength to surrender our egos,
embracing the freedom and peace that come from letting go
and trusting in the natural flow of life.
