Let’s face the truth together. Our role in society is shifting, and that’s not a loss—it’s an opportunity. We have always thrived on the margins, doing our best work where creativity and courage are essential. This is no time for hand-wringing. Let’s honor the past that brought us here while embracing the change that calls us forward. We cannot afford distractions over traditions or comforts. Buildings, budgets, and familiar routines are not our mission. Our purpose is to serve, to love, and to be present for those around us. Just a tiny degree of openness allows God to work with us—like dandelion seeds. Anxiety about the unknown may slow us down, but it doesn’t have to stop us. We just need to take one step of trust, then another. Let’s move forward, together.
May our openness, however small,
become the seeds through which
love and transformation bloom in the world.
