Our shared spiritual life calls us to live as part of a larger, interdependent whole. We are not isolated; our choices and growth affect each other deeply. In a time when separation and self-sufficiency are often glorified, the call to abide, to truly depend on one another and on something greater, feels radical. Abiding means staying grounded, connected, and open—even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s a commitment to grow, to be pruned, to bear fruit together, and to accept support that we ourselves cannot provide. The only true life we will live in this world is the life we consent to live in relationship, messy and entangled though it might be. Together, we find life and purpose beyond what we could ever achieve alone.
May we embrace the fullness of life by choosing to live in relationship,
messy and entangled though it might be.
