We are called to live according to God's will, but we often confuse our will with God's. It’s crucial to develop the discernment needed to distinguish between the two. Without this, we risk acting out of ego, convinced we’re aligned with divine purposes. The discernment of spirits helps us see clearly when God’s Spirit is at work and when it’s our own desires driving us. Through prayer, contemplation, and ongoing self-reflection, we can better tune ourselves to God’s will. This isn’t about perfection but about striving to live with humility and honesty, knowing that mistakes will happen. What matters is our willingness to keep returning to God’s guidance, allowing it to shape our lives with deeper understanding. The great truth of God will never underpin a small world.
May we embrace the boundless truth of God,
ever expanding our hearts and lives
beyond the confines of our own understanding.
