We grow up within our own bubbles, influenced by the social structures around us. These structures shape our psychological and emotional maturity but also limit how much we can integrate our shadow selves. True growth is not just upward but outward, fostering awareness and caring. However, spiritual growth—waking up—goes beyond this. It's about experiencing our oneness with all of Being, a state often described as enlightenment or unitive consciousness. Organized religion has often missed this, focusing more on moralistic growing up. Cleaning up, or moral discipline, is necessary but should lead to love, surrender, and union with God.
May we grow beyond our bubbles,
awaken to our oneness with all,
and find love, surrender, and union with God.
