The ego emerges, a separation from the True Self. A necessary creation, yet one that dominates until midlife's turning. Then, the self-created identity unravels - careers, appearances, personas shed like chrysalis. Embracing this uncreation with grace, finding contentment amidst loss, is the work. For the True Self resides not in transient creations, but in the divine essence. As life's journey nears its end, a longing for homecoming arises, a yearning to return to the depths from whence we came. A trust in this sacred homecoming, even as its form remains unknown. A shedding of the constructed self to be reborn into one's truest nature.
May we find solace in the unraveling of self, embracing loss with grace, for in letting go, we find our true essence rooted in the divine, guiding us toward the homecoming of the soul.
