Our Belovedness
In a world filled with noise, struggle, and confusion, it can be easy to forget who we truly are. We get caught in the hustle of doing, achieving, and proving our worth, often losing sight of the fact that we are already enough. But here's the wonderful truth: your worth is not defined by what you do, but by who you are. You are already beloved, from the very foundation of the world. This is the message that Jesus shares with us—our names are already written in heaven (Luke 10:20).
We belong before we ever accomplish a single thing. When we remember this, we can begin to live with freedom. We no longer need to prove ourselves. Instead, we live from the truth of our belovedness, and this transforms not only our lives but the world around us. Imagine what humanity could look like if we all lived with this deep knowing—nothing to prove, nothing to protect, nothing to possess. The world would change. So, today, take a moment to rest in your belovedness. Let it be the foundation for everything you do. Walk with the confidence of knowing you are enough. And from that place, love others as they are—beloved. (Luke 10:21-22)
Going Deeper
How often do we forget our fundamental truth? The truth that we are loved not because of what we do but simply because we are? The wisdom of Jesus teaches us that our worth is not found in our actions but in the love that already surrounds us. We don’t have to chase after approval or success; we can rest in the fact that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20). This truth is the key to unlocking deeper peace and power within. When we embrace our belovedness, we are freed from the constant need to prove ourselves. We become grounded in a love that transcends everything else. It’s this love that allows us to love others as they are, without judgment or expectation. So, take a moment today to reflect on your worth—not because of what you do, but simply because you are loved. Let this truth guide your thoughts, your actions, and your relationships. When you begin to live from this place, your life—and the world around you—will be transformed. Rejoice in your belovedness today, and see how it shifts everything. (Luke 10:21-22)
