Living with paradox invites us to confront contradictions, not merely endure them. These moments, where contradictions converge, mark opportunities to delve into the profound mystery of God. Embracing the abyss—hidden, limitless, unknowable—reveals a rich, supportive spaciousness, defying our logical minds. The God-experience, paradoxically a fall, becomes a grounding in the foundation. This counterintuitive truth defies easy explanation, known only experientially. Mystery isn't the unknowable; it's endless knowability on diverse levels, offering comfort, ultimate support, and unrestricted love. Spiritual wisdom lies in patient acceptance of questions and contradictions, resisting the ego's rush to certitudes. Maturing in faith involves navigating darkness, holding on, and dwelling in liminal space.
May we embrace life's paradoxes,
finding in them the profound mystery of God,
and may the endless knowability of mystery offer us
comfort and love on our spiritual journey.
