Through prayer and meditation, we deepen our conscious contact with God. Initially, it felt like a struggle, an effort to manage and control our spiritual practice. Over time, we've learned that this practice is about quiet and self-surrender. It moves us from an egocentric to a soul-centric perspective, allowing God to touch and heal our unconscious wounds. Daily prayer and meditation help us feel God's love. This fills our hearts, enabling us to serve others genuinely. The Twelve Step Program rightly focuses on this conscious contact with God, leading us to know and carry out God's will. Our willingness to embrace this journey is true obedience and the essence of answered prayers.
May our hearts,
filled with God's love through prayer and meditation,
empower us to serve others with genuine compassion.
