When we close our eyes and pray, we awaken to a deeper reality within ourselves. Imagine if we could open our eyes and see the world as Jesus did. Jesus saw God in everything and everyone—regardless of whether he looked at his mother, a prostitute, his disciples, or his executioners. This ability to see God's presence in all things is something we often miss, leading to our sorrow and confusion. Our prayer becomes a plea to see God's presence in our lives and others, understanding that we are part of God's infinite generosity. By looking into our hearts and settling our thoughts, we connect with God's mercy, realizing our oneness with God. This deepening communion transforms our lives, showing up in unexpected ways, guiding us in every moment, even beyond death.
May we open our eyes to see God's presence in everyone and everything, awakening to the infinite generosity and mercy that unites us all.
