We recognize that the world around us is changing rapidly, and with it, the way we understand and engage with spirituality. Millennials and Generation Z are distancing themselves from institutional religion, raising concerns about the future of these traditions. Yet, we see the potential for new spiritually grounded communities and practices emerging. These may not look like traditional congregations, but they offer spaces for meaningful connection and shared exploration. It is a time of great uncovering in which Mother Earth and Father Sky are pushing us into a divine reckoning about what it means to be in right relationship with one another and all sentient beings. As we navigate this shifting landscape, we are called to recover lost wisdom, repair our relationships, and reimagine what is possible. Our collective actions now will shape the spiritual and communal fabric for generations to come.
May we embrace this time of uncovering with courage,
recover lost wisdom, repair our relationships,
and reimagine a future of right relationships with all beings.
