We experience joy, love, and beauty amidst planetary changes by building resilience—equanimity during unpredictability and increasing suffering. Facing the Long Dark, not avoiding it, allows connection to ground us in chaos. Connection provides meaning, joy, and impetus for meaningful, relationship-promoting action—a salve against eco-anxiety, grief, and overwhelm. This work fills us with purpose regardless of outcomes. It lays groundwork for a heart-centered revolution centering relationships, connectedness, compassion over egocentrism during suffering and disconnection. Our calling cultivates justice and life-centeredness, even if unrealized. Committing to this loving, moral life means seeing neighbor suffering and acting. With open eyes and hearts, we awaken to these times' incredible power for wellness through self-love and interconnected love.
May we embrace resilience and connection,
finding joy and purpose amidst suffering,
and commit to compassionate action,
grounding our lives in love and justice.
