We wake up feeling anxious and sad, not just for ourselves but for the whole world. This feeling of doom comes from being awake to reality - the trees, water, and disappearing nature whisper the truth to us that politicians try to distract us from. When we face this doom head-on, it changes us. It can make us worse off, but it can also make us better - more humble, compassionate, courageous, wise, resilient, and alive. Instead of fearing this apocalyptic unveiling, we should welcome it as an opportunity to radically reframe our perspective and end our denial of reality as it truly is.
May we embrace reality's awakening, finding in it humility, compassion, courage, wisdom, resilience, and vitality, welcoming the apocalyptic unveiling as an opportunity for radical reframing.
