We recognize the presence of God in all creation. The natural world around us reveals God’s faithfulness and divine nature. Each year, despite the damage we do to the environment, life returns. This reminds us of God’s unwavering commitment to life and renewal. The seasons change, plants grow, and pollinators continue their essential work. We have done nothing to earn this; it is a gift we receive. Creation’s interdependence teaches us that our actions directly impact other living beings. The work of creation in God is the unity of diversity, where all lives coexist in a harmonious balance because they are all from God. Reverence for creation requires daily accountability, knowing that we are sustained by the systems of life, not above them. Creation is ongoing, and in our respect for it, we honor the Creator who sustains all life.
May we honor the Creator by living in harmony with all life,
recognizing the sacred unity of diversity that sustains us.
