We experience authentic love as a giving of ourselves to another, creating something new. This flow of love mirrors the relationship within the Trinity, connecting our diverse experiences with the life of God within us. In moments of true intimacy, we encounter a third element, the Holy Spirit, bringing us to a unity that transcends physical separation. Witnessing enduring bonds beyond death reveals the divine intimacy we share. Yet, the power of love and sexuality also necessitates boundaries to prevent harm. Recognizing our bodies as sacred temples of the Divine calls us to honor and respect ourselves and others as co-creators with God.
May we, as sacred temples of the Divine,
give of ourselves in love,
creating unity through the Holy Spirit
and honoring the divine intimacy we share.
