Some of the most powerful places for us are simple ones - rocking chairs, dinner tables, firepits, children's bedsides. These are where we share stories, grapple with what it means to be human, and decide how kind to be to ourselves and others. These humble spots teach us about God - what God is and isn't. They shape our understanding of how to live, connecting elders and youth through attentive listening. We must return to these story-starting places, questioning and respecting the narratives there. Reminding each other we are always arriving, always changing. Remember to live - immerse in nature, embrace curiosities, feel all emotions, take risks, love yourself through all seasons, for you never know when you'll reconnect over coffee. Remember your beautiful aliveness until the end.
May we find solace and wisdom in life's simple sacred spaces, where stories shape us, kindness is chosen, and arrival is ongoing; may we always remember to fully live and love ourselves until the end.
