We are often surrounded by individuals who offer quick fixes to life's challenges, but true guidance is rare. A wise mentor leads someone to their own center and to the Center, but by circuitous paths, using their two steps backward to lead them three steps forward. We need mentors who have traveled the path themselves, those who understand that growth often involves setbacks. These mentors guide us not by dictating solutions but by walking with us through our struggles. They help us discover our inner truth and lead us towards deeper spiritual connection. This journey may be messy and unpredictable, but it is in these moments of genuine guidance that we find our true direction. Together, we seek mentors who lead us through presence and relationship.
May we find true mentors who guide us through life's uncertainties,
leading us to our own center and to the Center,
with wisdom, presence, and love.
