The Inner Voice
In the quiet depths of our being, where the whispers of intuition dance with the echoes of our own thoughts, lies a sanctuary seldom visited. Here, in the hallowed halls of our innermost selves, resides a knowing beyond the grasp of logic, a truth woven into the fabric of our existence.
Yet, amidst the clamor of external expectations and the allure of tangible laws, many hesitate to heed this silent voice. They cling to the tangible, the measurable, seeking solace in the concrete constructs of law and behavior.
If indeed the divine chose to dwell among us, might it not speak through the very essence of our being? How else would God speak to us? This inner voice, elusive and profound, beckons us to venture into the depths of our soul, where truth resides beyond the reach of conscious thought. It is a sacred journey, requiring humility, honesty, and patience.
In embracing the Mystery of Christ, we find a bridge between the mundane and the divine. Through the incarnation, the supernatural is woven into the natural, rendering the distinction obsolete. What solace lies in this unity!
The quest for God is inseparable from the journey inward. It is a journey of trust, forged through the crucible of lived experience.
In the end, when the tumult of seeking subsides, we find ourselves cradled in the tranquil embrace of self-trust and divine surrender. Indeed, the deepest longing of the human heart is to trust ourselves and to trust in something greater.
