We have spent too long imagining the divine as distant, somewhere beyond our reach. This misunderstanding keeps us divided within ourselves. Only inner experience can bring healing to the human-divine split. Transformation begins when we recognize the divine presence here and now, within us. No external effort or performance brings this about—it is pure grace. Yet, we must experience it directly. No one else can know this reality for us. Intellectual acceptance is not enough; only personal experience bridges the human-divine divide. Participation and practice are essential. We learn to trust the present moment by engaging with it, drawing on the infinite source within us. The past is forgiven, the future can wait, and the now is where healing and connection occur. Here is where union is realized.
May we embrace the inner experience
that heals the human-divine divide,
finding union in the sacred now.
(inspired by Richard Rohr, Living the Eternal Now; The Continual Incarnation)
