We recognize the profound impracticality of violence. It does not solve problems, and it has failed time and time again. Violence drains our emotional, moral, and spiritual resources without creating positive outcomes. We must reject any notion that glorifies violence or sees it as an effective tool for change. It cannot be done by insulting other people, cannot be done with the gun or the fist, cannot be done with bombs. Instead, we embrace the moral and spiritual responsibility of nonviolence. Nonviolence, as Gandhi taught, is a powerful force for healing, uplifting, and uniting. It requires us to tap into love and compassion, recognizing the humanity in others. Only through nonviolence can we build a community that is just, creative, and empowered. Together, we can confront the pain, seek solutions, and transform our society for the better.
May we go forth rejecting violence in all forms,
embracing nonviolence as the true path to healing,
justice, and the transformation of our world.
