When we seek power, we often fall into two traps: playing the victim or making others victims. It's a cycle: self-pity leads to blame, accusation, and attack. This pattern repeats throughout history. Hate and fear seem to bind us. It is called the 'scapegoat mechanism' that shapes cultures. We compare, copy, compete, conflict, conspire, condemn, and crucify. This cycle continues unless we stop it. Spiritual wisdom teaches simplicity and freedom from the power game. Most unsettling is how we've justified violence as sacred, fearing and hating in the name of God or morality. Jesus challenged this. He was killed by the violent system but broke it by rising again, telling a truer story of love and life.
May we break free from the cycle of victimhood and violence,
embracing the wisdom of simplicity and love, as Jesus did,
to live out a truer story of compassion and peace.
