Our journey into the work of transformation and growth begins in a time of darkness. It isn’t a sudden revelation but a gradual realization that everything we believe needs to expand. We once think that proof of a loving God is evident when life is favorable. However, despite our loss and suffering, we can't deny God's presence and love. This marks a significant shift in our awareness. The darkness we feel is not without hope; it is luminous. We sense a force of love, which heightens our aliveness amid grief. This realization changes our focus and prayers. Instead of petitions, we seek guidance, asking to be shown the way. This inner guidance transforms us, revealing that in times of great suffering, something within wants to help us. By giving it our full attention, we begin to change, seeing the world with new eyes.
May we find the light within our darkness,
knowing that a force of love guides us through our suffering
and transforms our vision of the world.
