Our prayers mean little if they are not reflected in our actions. The prophets made this clear—trust in power, wealth, and control leads to oppression and alienation from God. Idolatry is not just about statues; it is about misplaced trust. When we prioritize dominance over relationship, we reject the very fabric of life as it was created to be. We are called to something different. Trust, right relationship, and participation in life—not control—are the marks of faithfulness. Security does not come from possessions or influence but from living in alignment with God’s presence. Fullness in relationship emerges from the flourishing nurtured within mutually beneficial relationships. The fullness of life is found not in what we extract but in what we receive, nurture, and share. Our faith must be lived.
May we seek fullness in relationship,
nurturing mutual flourishing through
trust, right action, and faithful presence.
