We've come to understand that suffering is an inevitable part of life. As we stand with those facing hardships, we often feel overwhelmed by despair and anger. The world's problems can seem black and white, tearing us apart inside. But it's in our brokenness that we're most receptive to contemplation. We seek resolution for our inner turmoil, allowing ourselves to enter a silence that unifies everything. We don't ignore the reality of evil, but we strive to see beyond simple dualities. We acknowledge the need to confront injustice, yet we recognize that staying fixated on these divisions can make us harsh and unloving. We've experienced this in ourselves. Our goal is to find a broader perspective that embraces both action and contemplation, recognizing their interdependence in our spiritual journey.
May we embrace the balance of action and contemplation,
finding unity and compassion in the midst of suffering and division.
